When I saw it I went リーダーかわいい～！ haha xD And then I bought the magazine... *failure* You know it's gotta be good when someone other than Nino makes me want to buy the magazine, hehe.
Anyway, this is part of a poster in the mag...
This is the poster. And yeah, that's my ghetto TV remote, haha... my TV is so old... ;^^
I also particularly liked this picture...
Aww, see the love<3
And if you zoom out just a little...
You can see that Nino doesn't love Aiba quite as much as he does Oh-chan xD
Anyway, there is only like 2 pages of Arashi in this magazine and yet I still had to buy it... darn you and your cuteness, Leader~!
Hmm... since this article is incredibly short maybe I should translate it... I will put it at the end of the post, hehe.
Next! Yesterday me and my friend went to Tokyu Hands to get Uchiwa stuff~! Actually, we had gone the day before also but failed miserably, haha! We're getting the stuff for my friend's friend who lives in the inaka and apparently has no Tokyu Hands near her, hehe. So, she wants to make an uchiwa for Nakamaru, but neither of us are KAT-TUN fans so we were at a loss. We took pictures of all the stuff and sent them to her, then she designed the uchiwa and sent the design back so we could get the stuff. Anyway, while we were there (it still took us forever 'cause we are both bad at making decisions, hehe) a group of 4 ladies who were probably in their 40s came in to get uchiwa stuff too, hehe. One lady was explaining to the others about all the materials and how to make them, so it seemed like the other three were new fans, haha. We tried to eavesdrop on their conversation to find out who they were fans of but we never found out. I was super curious, hehe xD
Then, after getting all the stuff, my other friend (who just went with us because he was bored and then got slightly overwhelmed at the world of Johnny's uchiwa making, haha) wanted to buy a calculator, so we went to various other stores. And while at Village Vanguard I had a random Arashi moment, hehe. I was looking at something when suddenly my Arashi senses started tingling, haha. So I was like "Huh? I don't hear Arashi... I don't see Arashi... what's going on..." then I listened a bit closer and the music in the store was a woman singing One Love! It was kind of freaky, lol. But then I found the CD they were playing was a compilation of love songs sung by some random woman, and one of them happened to be One Love... kind of a strange feeling hearing someone else sing Arashi, hehe.
Then, while my guy friend was looking for calculators me and my other friend noticed the display for the 5x10 DVD in the CD shop next door, so we went over to watch the video and then saw these...
I grabbed 3 because I fail at life, haha xD (But who doesn't enjoy naked Arashi, right?)
And lastly here's some stuff that came in the mail recently... someone really needs to slap me so I stop buying things on Yahoo Auctions...
Pikanchi~!! This is really hard to find anywhere and usually gets kind of expensive, so I was happy to get it for 3000yen. I just need Pikanchi Double now and I'll have all of Arashi's movies xD
I decided to try and get all of Nino's butai pamphlets and while looking for them ran across this... so I widened my ideal pamphlet collection to include movies, haha ;^^
And here is that translation~!
The titles of each section are puns on the term "Arashi ni Shiyagare", so they're actually grammatically kind of weird and sound strange in English, so I included the romanji of the original Japanese too.
On-the-spot Improv Talk 1:
Look up to Arashi (Arashi ni Akogare)
Who is someone you look up to?
Ohno: The person I look up to is Bruce Lee. The reason is because he's strong!
Nino: Have you fought him before?
Ohno: In my dreams.
Nino: Who won?
Ohno: Of course it ended in my crushing defeat (laughs)
Nino: For me I think it would be Coach Hara*. I've only ever seen him playing baseball, but I also like his way of life.
*note: The coach for the Yomiuri Giants. Tokyo's baseball team.
On-the-spot Improv Talk 2:
Unpleasant Arashi (Arashi ni Iyagare)
What is something that made you feel blue recently?
Aiba: Recently it's been raining a lot, so I've been feeling blue. Also it's still pretty cold...
Nino: I guess for me it's the fact that I've had so few days off (laughs) Recently I've been doing nothing but work.
Aiba: If you had a vacation what would you want to do?
Nino: Actually, if I had a vacation I'd just feel empty, so I don't want to think about it (laughs)
On-the-spot Improv Talk 3:
Twilight Arashi (Arashi ni Tasogare)
*note: This is the hardest one to translate. "Tasogare" means twilight, but there is also a verb "tasogareru" (which Ohno uses in his answer) It's kind of a mysterious feeling, like if at twilight you were starring out at something and it's getting darker so you your field of vision gets blurry, and you kind of feel enticed by your surroundings. Hence the connection to the question... kind of... haha... so hard to explain...
What is a moment when you suddenly feel fascinated with yourself?
Matsumoto: Ohno-san, since you're doing a drama now aren't you fascinated by your own acting everyday?
Ohno: Yeah, if my acting is good I get pulled in (laughs)
Matsumoto: For me it's when I set the level of the treadmill really high at the gym. Maybe I'm M.
Ohno: But you are also the one who is pushing yourself so you're both sides of S&M.
*note: S&M in Japanese is not the same meaning as it is in English. It just refers to the personality traits associated with S&M.
On-the-spot Improv Talk 4:
Punish Arashi (Arashi ni Shibakare)
Who get's scolded/reprimanded the most in Arashi?
Matsumoto: Among the members we don't put each other down, but the one who makes the most mistakes during choreography is Aiba-kun.
Sakurai: That's true. Also, the put downs from the guests on Mannequin Five are really harsh.
Matsumoto: It really feels like you're being punished (laughs)
Sakurai: You feel like you're being slapped in the face for an hour straight (laughs).
On-the-spot Improv Talk 5:
Take on Arashi (Arashi ni Kiyagare)
Who do you want to come as a guest on the show?
Sakurai: I want someone who we'd never get the chance to meet otherwise.
Aiba: Like artists or athletes. Someone like Ichiro.
Sakurai: ...it would be amazing if he came (laughs).
Aiba: Also Hideki Matsui. First of all they live completely different lives than we do.
Sakurai: That's true. We could hear a lot of things that we don't know about from them.
And that is all. Short, right? ;^^
